What I liked about it
- Great mix of fun and bringing systems mapping accross
- Very enjoyable session - team work
- Fridge challenge fun way of explaining complexity
- practical
- useful technique
- fun
- learning diagram technique
- cases
- fun/interaction
- interaction, something different
- loots of practice
- the game format, the simulation, the openness, the hands on experience
- hands on simulation and working with system diagrams
- diagramming technique
- modelling dynamics
- Describing a system (diagram techniques)
- Started with an interactive game, then short theory, then agan interactive game: good BALANCE
- I learned a new technique
- simulation, group work, modelling
- practice on how to make a diagram with loops cause & effect
- simulation, visualisation
- fridge simulation
- team exercise
- use of presentation material
- The simplified, clear way of exposing a complex topic
To improve
- Move working frigo’s from start of game
- initial uncertainty about "limits" of fridge challenge setup could have been avoided with clear instructions on display. Thank you for enjoyable session.
- more analysis of the content
- more feedback about the simulation
- some real life example at how this technique actually was applied and solutions were implemented
- no real benefit for me
- make it perfect :-)
- have simulations work
- more instructions on exercises
- have IT problems as well
- computers should be running at the start of the session
- make it clearer what to look for in the diagrams
- more theory, less do
- more laptops (or limit people)
- start of the presentatino didn't go well. why spend half an hour on this?
- Drawing the diagrams in team could dbe improved, not everyone is participating, and the diagrams quickly become complex
- in order to act as a team, lots of sense of urgency should be in place
- maximize at less people
- prepare setup for simulation better to gain momentum at start of the session
- have your stuff in order at the beginning
- preparation
- # people
- do diagram exercise in iterations
- decrease feedback loop to make inital exercise shorter
- explain a bit more how systems thinking can be used
- too crowded -- no kanban limit respected
- slow start
- kick people out
- start on time
- I would spend more time (a little) seeing how we can act upon the systems (by examples)
