Abstract:
Have you ever damaged work, a relation, a job , a team by doing a confrontation wrongly? Either by being (too) aggressive or too weak?
Or even worse, have you ever let a relation, a job, a project go wrong because of not wanting or daring to confront ?
Since we all know that blaming or placating are not effective, how do we deal with broken promises, missed deadlines, or unacceptable behaviour ? How can we hold someone accountable face to face and solve the problem in a way that benefits the relationship ?
In this interactive session, we present and practice the model from Crucial Confrontations by Patterson, Grenny, McMillan, and Switzler.
